If you seek the "tropical style" in high quality and like to kick back in a hammock, listen to the birds sing and the sound of a rushing stream, think that relaxing in a hot bath in a claw foot tub located outside in the garden is bliss, enjoy private get-aways and don't mind swatting a mosquito or two (or three), this may be the perfect retreat for you.

The Jungle Cabana is a charming modern accommodation built with tropical flair to help manifest that idealistic vacation you have dreamed of. This cozy first class studio-like lodging has approximately 350 square foot of interior space which is paneled primarily in woven bamboo and trimmed with bamboo accents. The bright airiness opens up to soothing views of the rushing mountain stream and spectacular Wainiha Pali (cliffs). The main living space is the beautiful nature that surrounds.

Tropical Hawaiiana style decor is enhanced with bamboo sofa and furniture. Everything is set to help you transcend that which you know as reality in your normal everyday life.

This accommodation is designed for two, you and your beloved, to dream in it's comfortable queen size bed. Perfect for honeymoons or lovers rekindling old flames.

For the culinary artist within you there is a full well equipped kitchen. We have all the trappings of a well stocked kitchen, four burner gas range, microwave oven, blender, toaster, coffee maker, spices, high quality cookware, etc. As you prepare your meals you will be gazing upon the rushing Wainha Stream which passes only a few feet from the kitchen and dining nook.

A comfortable dining nook provides you with the opportunity to sit, relax and dine, while enjoying the views of the rushing stream, mountains, jungle and surrounding gardens.

At the Jungle Cabana even bathing is an exceptional experience. Imagine yourself in a beautiful private flowering garden, soaking in the warmth of a claw foot tub or rinsing off in the hot tantalizing shower, full moon overhead and the flickering light of tiki torches. You close your eyes, the sound of the rushing stream and fragrances of blooming ginger, plumeria or jasmine abound, ahhhh... this is paradise! This garden bath setting is one that will forever live in your heart and mind, and has proven to be a favorite experience for most guests. (There is no indoor bathing although we do have toilet facilities inside)

The Jungle Cabana sits at stream's edge of the Wainiha Stream. The sound of the rushing water is ever present providing nature's flowing melody to enhance romance, relaxation and slumber.

This comfortable vacation rental is situated in its own private garden providing plenty of privacy. The residence of the owners, Dot and Byron Fears, is located about 200' away on this lushly landscaped park-like garden of 2+ acres. The Jungle Bungalow is about 200' away on the other end of gardens. There is plenty of tropical vegetation separating each lodging assuring privacy.

  Location
  The Jungle Cabana is situated on the north shore of the "Garden Island" of Kauai in the spectacular Wainiha Valley. This valley of steep, fluted cliffs is in the midst of the most beautiful coastline of all the Hawaiian islands. The coastline reveals the most impressive, uncrowded and romantic beaches in the archipelago along with beautiful-undeveloped lush valleys. This area truly is the idealistic image of Hawaii abound with remarkable geological formations, fauna and flora.

The small community of Hanalei is less than a 10 minute scenic drive to the east while the world famous Na Pali Coast begins a short 10 minute drive to the west (where the road ends and the trail begins).
